Just been to watch Brighouse Town v Trafford FC in the NPL and who came on as a Second Half sub for Trafford? None other than the mighty CHRIS SHUKER!

Nicky Wroe is dropping down the leagues too. He's at Bradford PA now in National league 1 North.

Jonathan Greening now plays for Tadcaster Albion. I was over the moon when we signed him because he was class for West Brom in that period where they yo-yo'd between the PL and the Championship.

Good on him, players should drop down the leagues if they want, give something back to the game at grass roots level. The great Frank Worthington loved playing that much he was playing park football into his 40s/50s.

Can remember Shuker playing against us. He was a real pain in the arse and wound the crowd up but played very well.

    We signed him soon after.

If he still enjoys the game why not. I don't hold with the attitude that you should only play at the top.
