Blackburn Rovers: (quote from the BBC preview of tomorrow's match)
Twelve months ago they ended the calendar year by beating Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford.

Interesting thought. Any of those players still in the team I wonder? If so they will not think much of making a trip to Oakwell when twelve months ago they were at Old Trafford.

Historically Blackburn is not one of those teams that we usually beat, so there is no good reason to be optimistic about tomorrow, but who knows. They are in, arguably, as poor a state as we are form-wise but they do have an £8 million striker who will more than likely score at least one. So it's not going to be a 0-0 then is it?

We keep saying it but tomorrow really IS a must-win. If they keep on not winning the habit will never come back and we will be relegated by the end of February. I don't want that to happen and neither does any right-thinking Barnsley fan. I wish I could be there tomorrow but I can't - I will be listening on B Player though.

Didn't we knock four past them last time they were at Oakwell? Hignett got two and I remember Eric Tinkler won me a few bob with the first goal. :)

we drew with them in cup since then i think, Hignett scored equalizer for them late on and we lost in replay at Ewood
