Johnson is sacked. Hecky and Burton are placed in temporary charge. Results pick up and we climb towards the safety of mid-table. Hecky and Burton are offered the job full-time, and against their better judgement, accept. We cash in on Hourihane and Winnall in the summer, and fail to adequately replace them before the transfer window closes. As a result, we have a poor start to 2016-17, and Hecky and Burton are fired. The academy stops producing quality players.
dont think things can get any worse , the football is shocking to watch , johnson is slowly killing even the diehard fans loyalty off
Assume LJ stays on, and we fall through the trap-door to Division 2. That's the worst case scenario. I'd appoint Burton & Hecky until the end of this season at least, and then review things, but guaranteeing their positions at the Academy if there's any future managerial appointment
As much as I like Burton and Hecky we need experience not another gamble. They're doing fine jobs where they are so let them captain the ship until we find a suitable replacement for Johnson.
