Well just got weighed this morning and I've put 6.5 pounds on over Christmas.
But I've had a great Christmas and seemed to have spent more time in the boozers this time than for years.
So its back to eating and drinking sensibly now.
After many years of trying I have come up with this method which works.
    W.A.P.E.

W = Weigh yourself every week at the same time. I do this monday morning. This gives you a target for the following week.
A = Alcohol. Cut down on drinking especially drinking at home. Alcohol puts weight on and it also stimulates hunger.
P = Points. Over the years I attended a few sessions of Weight Watchers to see how its done. Me and 30+ women (NICE !!!). Every item of food is given points and you are allowed a certain amount of points throughout the day. This makes it easy to watch what you are eating. Weight Watchers print a book with points against each food items. So if you dont know how the points system works you need to attend Weight Watchers. Men are allowed 28 points per day.
E = Exercise. Go for a walk; even if its just around the block. This is something I find difficult to do in the winter cos all i want to do in these dark cold days is either sit in the pub, sit in front of the fire with a drink, or go to bed.

Hope this helps. Happy New Year.

Yer wouldn't find it so funny if you were a big fatty like me.

..........I'm not telling you how much I weigh but I would guess that I weigh nearly DOUBLE of what the average person on here weighs. Although my weight can be hidden a bit because of my height

I did weight watchers and got from 14 and half stone to 11 and half in about 4 months. Lost 3 inch from waist.
