I know, they start banging on about how the vid was distributed over the internet by the FSB in an attempt to discredit the UK diplomatic services, but I hadn't heard a thing about it until The Sun ran the story!

Headline is simply "man has sex with fit blonde woman"

    Wow.

The truth of the matter is that most of the people reporting on that story and publishing it are probably all coke-heads or pissheads and would make the front page themselves.

Having been to Yekaterinburg, I seriously doubt it would have broken the bank!

(Before anyone asks, I have not paid for such entertainment - really no need there, which for me is the strangest thing)

Basically, if you work in such posts you have to go through security clearance with the Foreign Office every year, and fraternizing even with the usual locals is considered such a security risk in certain places (Russia and China to name but a couple) that it could in itself lead to clearance being revoked.

Agreed that he's a plank, and shouldn't be in such a role

But he's not cheated on his wife, which is what I thought the thread alluded to

If I were a single man, with pots of cash, I would travel the world nailing more prozzies than you could shake a red raw stick at
