Has anyone got any concrete evidence of him being at the club training or anything? Personally, I think it will be a astute signing if we decide to go ahead with a deal. He is clearly a ball to feet football player who can do some damage to teams if we get him near the form he was in 3 years ago. Seems to have lost himself a bit since his move to Wigan but I remember him down here when he played for West Brom and he looked a player. I would be delighted if we signed him till end of season to prove himself and If Butterfield does go, he will more than fill the boots left behind should he hit his form.
Depends how gullible you are I suppose. According to Tykesmad, and that ever-so reliable Football Rumour website, Koumas has been training with us about 10 times, and has been set to sign every time the club admit to wanting players in.. He is slower than Doyle, was on 25 grand a week at Wigan (so say their fans who say he was the laziest player alive) and hasnt got fixed up at a club since last May.. so if you want to know if I think we SHOULD get him? Then no, not at all. If/when Jacob goes, we play Drinker and Shirley with Matty Done or RNL in the hole. Or two up top - Haynes/Davies/Gray/Ranger
Id wager that Drinkwater will be ere until season's end.. and even if we lost Steele, Jacob and Drinkwater, I have faith in Hillcroft to replace them with decent up and coming players, NOT a 25 grand a week Robins-esque recruit
Not read anything about him since he pondered quiting...... http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...iders-quitting-playing-career-91466-29432464/
