How typical is this? ( Not an April Fools day joke)

    As you know Laura is due to go into hospital for an operation on her legs . This was scheduled for 13th April , but the hospital have had to change it to the 20th. She now has to go in the day before 19th , as she is on the morning list for 20th .

    Also I mentioned last week that I had nominated Laura for a Superkids Award and , that if she won , she would have to go to the Awards Ceremony on the 24th April......


    Well , this morning we have received a letter saying that Laura has won the Star Superkids - Windowstyle Uk Fundraising Award and has been invited to the Hilton Hotel Sheffield. Brilliant news , except she could still be in hospital and , even if she's out , she certainly won't be fit enough to attend . Ah well , hopefully we'll win today to make up for missing the awards ceremony .
