Clean sweep by the Aussies, they won't lose it twice in succession.

Saw something on Sky the other day, think it was Cricket Reporters and they were talking about the Cricket World Cup and saying we'd never do anything when England players viewed winning the Ashes as more important than the World Cup.

Ashes is more important than world cup in my eyes. In one dayers owt can happen, BANGLADESH beat Aussies last year in ODI but gillespe got 200 vs them in test match. Proves it wa a lucky day

But the Ashes is ONE test series against one country that has a smaller population than us.

It would be like saying beating Scotland at football is more important than winning the World Cup.

Mind you - I couldn't give a flying **** what happens in cricket, yep it's good if England win but I'm not arsed when they lose.

no, australia r ranked number 1 in the world, if u win best-of-5 series against best team in the world i reckon thats more of an achievment than beatin the likes of scotland and ireland and canada in the one day game
