How wud you react??

if you was going 50mph in between the average speed checkers on a motorway and had a wagon up your arse... braying its airhorn for you to move over how would you react...

 

Go 57MPH and leave the wagon limited to 56MPH standing

 

I decided to stay in the middle and drive at 40mph wating for him to undertake with obsenities as i waved and smiled as he passed.... until we got the national speed limit which i did exactly the same as i overtook him

 

go slower.

He was the one tailgating me I was in the speed limited area, as if i am going to speed up and give £60 to the goverment and have sp50 on my liscence all because a wagon was tailgating me...

 

slow right down to about 30 then slam on and claim whiplash

Are we talking the M1, do some drivers know these speed camera's don't work because a lot go about 60 through them.

 

They seem to do it all the time from my experience.

And like someone else said, do those cameras actually work? You see so many cruising past, you've got to wonder if they know something we don't.

i would have let him get within inches of my boot as i slowed RIGHT down to about 5 mph, then sped up, he would have had to change right down the box and couldnt catch you up anyway!!

 

A speed camera in a 50 mph zone

Typically will have a tolerance of ~10% + 2mph, therefore 57mph would not set the camera going, but 58 mph probably would.

 

I would have moved to the inside lane and allowed him past

... if he wants to speed let him.

 

well if I you were in the middle lane I would have indicated left to see if somebody would let me in but def would not have speeded up why should you risk points n a fine , wagon drivers can be a right pain in the arse on motorways the odd couple of miles an hour they gain by doing it is negligible anyway, esp applies when the cnuts insist on passing another wagon on the 2 lane A1 at .oooooooooo1 miles an hour faster than the one on the inside
