Howard was around Barnsley saturday night so he's obviously taking fitness seriously being out two nights in a row getting pissed ha.
Im on 1 of the doors in Wakey and they were in ours, Howard said he would like to come back to Oakwell and Blunts looking to put him out on loan next season!!
Why would we want... somebody who's out every night, argues with team mates on the pitch and thinks he's bigger than the club. The last 2 good games Brian Howard had for Barnsley were against Liverpool and Chelsea, he was average at best after that, i'm not saying Andranik would be the answer, but at least he's none of the above.
Why would we want... ....a midfielder who scores over 10 per season with numerous years of Championship experience and still in the prime of his career? Agree he shouldn't be captain, but he's better than all the midfielders we have here at what he does. That's scoring goals.
I understand what you're saying: But I wouldn't if I were from Chinese Tapei. What I'm trying to say is ... can't we maybe sign just one striker who scores a few goals? We've got 29 forwards, but none of them can score ... which means we rely on our midfield to get 30+ goals every season. Either that - or we could inject Anderson with Redfearn DNA. He'd be bloody ugly - but we'd have a reyt player on our hands. I also think half time lap dancers would be good.
He's not the Mona Lisa now though, is he? We don't need to sign anyone. We've got Odejayi. Why limit the lap dancers to half time? Charge season ticket holders an extra £100 to install a 'booth' around their seat and let the fun last the full 105 minutes.
Anderson's eyes are roughly 11 metres apart. He looks like a sloth. My Gran, who is dead, would net more than Kayo. Pile her bones up on the edge of the 6 yard box & she'd deflect a few in over a season. If it were up to me - it would be 100 minutes of lap dancing & 5 minutes footy. Is Jay dead?
But what i'm trying to say is Brian Howard got ruined by scoring that goal at Anfield. I'm not doubting his ability; the seasn before, he was immense, but after that game against Liverpool, he got big headed, disrupted the team and we won very few while he was playing for us. He scored plenty of goals, but after the goal at Liverpool, i can only remember him scoring in 2 matches after that, a hat trick against Ipswich and a goal the season after against Coventry? I just don't think he's good enough for this league anymore. I'd love for him to prove me wrong, but tbh i wouldn't take that gamble and bring him back.
Brian Howard was a good player for us and still is, but he is scum keep him out of Oakwell and keep him out of Barnsley as far as i am concerned same with Morgan. The way Howard left our club was out of order, something that Davey isnt fully to blaim for. Scum scum scum he is
