    For what it's worth..................

    I think he has more base talent than most who've occupied the midfield positions for us in recent years. I'd see a role for him - even if he won't be getting any pacier at 31. And I think he could be invaluable in terms of hopefully bringing on young 'uns like Diggers and RNL. I'd certainly be more enthused about him turning out for us than Mad Dog, Tompole or Sadie Bird.

    And while we're about it, Garbine Muguruza to win the 3rd Quarter of the Women's (I've taken 8/1 on that).
