    .. just been on look north he's signing for united however club received a bid from charlton. But he's moving to united instead

    Gutted.
    I was somewhat happier that he wasn't going to a local rival and presumably we were going to get more money.
    Unfortunately it's what I feared all along, Howard has us over a barrel, he will go where he wants not to whoever makes the best bid.
    Could all have been avoided if we'd sold him over the summer like we should've done if he was adamant that he wanted to leave. You just know he'll play a blinder at Bramall Lane against us and 20000+ dee-dahs will have a field day taking the piss.
    Ah the joys of being a Barnsley fan.
