So Mark has printed what could be said to be a negative story, saying in todays paper that everyone knows Howard wants to go and therefore should be allowed to?
Does that mean he won't be laiking tomorrow?

Must have. I'm also sure that he wouldn't have run the story if he was playing tomorrow. So he'll be on the bench.
Nailed on.

RE: Eh ? Well, fck me sideways.
Dear Rumpole,
There is much I wish to say at this juncture. However, to stop any legal nastiness befalling me I will keep my thoughts to myself until I'm in the boozer tomorrow.

How old is he? I thought anyone over the age of 25 could agree to join any other club during the last 6 months of an existing contract. The contract with the new club starting at the conclusion of the existing one.
So does everyone for some reason But it's not true. Don't know where the idea has come from. You can sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club when you have six months left on your contract, like Steve McManaman did when he joined Real Madrid, but not with a club in the country in which you are playing. If you could, there'd be deals like that going on all the time and there simply isn't.
FFS. Course he wants to leave with some so called fans reactions towards him. If he was available clubs would have come in for him. No way at all that clubs won’t be interested in him. Why do fans give him a hard time. He’s been good for us. Give him a break, why do we seem to hound out players. All he wants to do is play at a higher level which he can do. Whats wrong with ambition? No he’s not been big headed, just that some people cannot accept he had a spell in the spotlight and rightfully so due to his performances and see him as a big time Charlie. And get onto him for it. Get behind him and the team, and we might see a difference in performances and results. Maybe if fans get behind him again he might stay. But at the moment he is definitely on the way out thanks to some.
