do you think he's a Premiership quality player? I think the championship is his level and might struggle further up

Not a premier league quality player yet but he will be eventually. Best midfielder in our league.

    On top of his game

and loving every minute, you can tell he wants the ball all the time, playing with a huge grin on his face, dont underestimate the affect of his enthusiasm and energy on the rest of the side, inspired choice by Davey to make him captain. noticed that the two of them we're all over each other at the end, course, he wanted out when Ritchie left.....

    He is indeed,

and for someone who looks like he is carrying a bit extra he can run all day.

I would have given him MOTM.

If we get the forwards scoring then I reckon play-offs arent out of the question.

Will Everton let us have Anderson for the season, big lad who can get up and down yet also pass pretty well.

have said we can only have him on a month to month basis, they want to review at the end of this spell, but Moyes cant guarantee him first team football as yet so its not out of the question that we might get him for rest of season.

    RE: Everton

We dont really have anyone to replace him should we not get a renewal.

The team looks pretty balanced at the moment , though I wouldnt lose any sleep if McCann and/or Campbell Ryce took a breather.

    Togwell and Devaney

havent looked out of place when they've come on, Andersen's delivery at set pieces is quality though, agree that him and Howard look like developing a good partnership, would be a shame to break it up. McCann gives the side balance on the left, might not be the best going forward, but he competes and offers cover for Werling. midfield and defence look strong, if anything, ultra critcism would be the strikers dont worry the opposition keeper enough. I still think Stan is our best striker.

    Agreed

But I think if you took Anderson out of the side, it would have massive consequences. He's a class above everyone and his calmness on the ball suits the likes of Howard perfectly. We really need him to stay for the rest of the season if we're going to challenge.

On the matter of Stan, he probably is the best striker. When he gets a chance, he'll usually score. He's not got hardly any chances this season though, like most of the strikers. Then again, if you're playing with two target men, it's obvious that they're going to knock more balls down for midfielders.

    RE: Togwell and Devaney

it isnt being critical saying that our forwards dont look like they will score much at the moment. Whilst Odejayi runs a lot he doesnt appear to know what to do with that round white thing. He looks very uncomfortable when he has the ball at his feet.

    Strikers need goals for confidence

even in a winning team, a goal or two means they'll shoot more often. Think there was an occasion last night when Mostto tried a square ball to Howard when he was through right hand side of the peno box. A confident striker would have had a dig from there. Mind, he had a go in the 1st half when he shouldve slotted Howard in and got an earful! Cant knock their work rate though.

He's as good as Jags and has the potential to be as good as Koumas nt

    whoever plays up front

as long as they keep working hard will do for me , maybe the reason the midfield have scored so often is cos the strikers are good at pulling defenders out of postion and creating space for our midfiled runners...
