It was McPhail who "did" hime as well I think. Also explains his more withdrawn and "tired" looking last quarter of the game. Devaney was also gutted at having to come off. Think he was injured and will miss a game or two.

RE: Shouldn't play the first team at Watford anyway

Zero chance of a win at Watford anyway, especially with the hangover that could well follow that performance. Zero. Rest 'em up for the matches that we do stand a chance in.

The only silver lining from that is

That gets him safely to the bookings Amnesty

He misses the two away games that I dont expect us to get much from anyway

but will be available for our must win home games and can play without the worry of missing any matches should he pick up his 10th yellow

The only consellation is that its away on a weeknight so not too many fans there to get on their backs

That's true, but I'd rather they're mentally ready for the reality of the remaining games. No glory. Just guts.

Me too mate. Leon has got a good touch but he is extremely lightweight and has zero pace. He doesn't have any impact in most games he is on the pitch. I would rather see Butterfield get a game.

Quite glad to be honest!! As much as he was awesome yesterday, we need to try something different away. Toggers & Hassell/Johnson or even Butterfield! Get some defensive work done in the middle & let the wingers push on!

Once Sunday comes his bookings get wiped! So this means he will be ok to play (pending injury) in the 3 MASSIVE home games.
