Howard to leave on a free next summer

    writing on the wall now that he hasn't left this summer, its the only thing i can see happening

    Agreed, because there's no chance he'll sign with Barnsley again.

    Is that right? Interesting. Seems Davey is spending too much time trying to find another new position for Bobby than making sure he's actually got some half decent players for next season.

    we wouldn't get much in january with his contract being a few months from ending

    Ah but.......

    Think of it this way would you prefer to........

    Flog him on the cheap in the xmas window for say £750k.... and look for a replacement

    or

    let him go free in the summer, and hopefully get another 14goals (as he did last season) from midfield, plus assists of course.


    I guess it depends how we are playing as a team and How Brian himself is playing. Considering we paid nothing for him and what his achievements the past two seasons we have definately had our money's worth our of him. I would be disapointed to see him leave on a free but I wouldn't begrudge him moving on as long as it were to a bigger club.
