But unless he sign's a new contract certain fan's will question him wanting to be a Barnsley player. You can't blame him for wanting
more money just look at Man City, we need to get behind him while he's still here and let him lead the team.

I agree Moore would make a great Captain but its Howards job and we should get behind him. He is a good Captain and does lead the team he drives them forward he needs to get his head back to leading the team, because all the transfer talk has effected his game.

fair point but like ive said previous, sat after the derby game was a very big let down for me when he walked off without clapping the fans ,thats not what a leader does ,he should have been up in front ,the first one there setting an example id even go as far as saying even simon davey clapped the fans ,unless he thought he was going and didnt need to but who knows

    Hang on

Simon Davey is the real leader of the side isn't he? The manager. He didn't clap the fans after the coventry defeat, howard did.

Isn't a persons reaction after defeat more important than their action when we win? It is a lot easier to clap the fans after a win than to face them after defeat. Howard was there after the defeat, davey was up the tunnel...

    Managers rule number 1.

When dealing with players that even so much as hint they are up for a move from your club.

"F**k them straight out the door without hesitation, deviation or repetition"

Moore would make a great captain...

... if we were in the Ryman league, division slow with slow players and a slow referee.

    He wasn't feeling too clever..............

he was feeling sick so beat a hasty retreat before he puked on the pitch.
There was no ulterior motive in his actions.
That was posted on Saturday night when someone else asked the same thing.
I'm not trying to be smart with this reply its just that obviously you missed it Saturday.

Nobody can blame him for wanting more money. Don't we all ask for pay rises, especially if others come in doing the same job (and less effectively) and on more money. But it is up to the club to offer him the contract. And I would keep him as captain. I think his focus has been taken away by the transfer dealings but hopefully now he can get back to his best. He is still Sir Bri in my house, and is still one of the best players at the club, he will get my support as long as he his wearing a Barnsley shirt.

The chance of Prem football and double your pay packet, that's enough to take any players focus away.

well if thats what he wants then he needs to focus on his footballing side cos he aint no premiership player playing like he is and hes not showing what he can do to show otherwise

That's what all players want, to play at the highest level they can.

What a load of *****......How can you give Moore the armband when everyone knows he's the weak link. For fecks sake give Howie a break why do people insist on getting on the back of our best player by far.
