Read through a lot of stuff on here and i am gobsmacked at the amount of people who think forcing our captan and the 1 player who has made the biggest contribution to our survival over the last two seasons out of the club is a good thing. Just because he is a bit flash he gets stick, he goes in town for a drink - so what!! Let him have his moment of fame, being recognised in town and being seen gives him a buzz and what young bloke wouldn't it? It has never effected his performances and yet it gets held against him like he should be a virgin knight with no life outside of football.
When was the last time we had a player linked with million pound moves to the prem??
Which player is going to score 10+ goals this season for us?
Im sorry bit the only result i can see coming from him leaving the club is relegation, and the manager is the man to take the blame. How many more players are going to have to leave, Johnson, Christenson, Ricketts, Austin, Kay, Reid and now the captain - the wrong man is leaving tomorrow, a week tomorrow when Davey is sacked we will realise then.

Sorry Chris, its affected his performances this season in the games I've seen. Maybe not directly alcohol, but he's not fit and he's not motivated.
Scored 1 set 1 up, tried his bag off in every game. What more could he have done, he cant win games on his own.
Opinions I guess. He scored one and set one up and obviously thats a huge loss to us. But I was very, very disappointed with his workrate, his effort and his attitude in the game at Blackpool, and the game against Cardiff. As each game passes, he gets more and more animated in berating every single little thing his teammates do. Maybe it shows he cares, but I think it goes a little too far. Brian Howard on his day is our best player, alongside Anderson Silva. If the motivated, fit, driving force that is the Brian Howard of pre-Wembley is still in there, and I'm sure he is, then I'd break the bank to keep him. I know he cares about this club, you only have to watch Wembley post-match to see that. But something behind the scenes has knocked him out of his rhythm and the whole situation is a mess that is only going to end one way. Ady's posts suggests that its not Davey, so what the hell is it?
If BFC let him sign for Sheffield United tomorrow then we may as well all **** off and start watching Worsborough Bridge, that to me is just quite simply taking the piss out of me and every other BFC fan. Why he didn't play yesterday only fat simon knows and there is more chance of Mostto starting at Ipswich than there is of Davey tell us anything about the incident so we will all just have to speculate, just wish we could keep him 1 more week as im sure Davey will be gone come a week today.
Think Howards poor performances get reflected more because he's club captain and in recent years he's been phenominal for the club. The fact that JCR's, Macken's, disco's and some other players from last seasons performances go less criticised because they're not noticed as much as howard. I've always been a fan of Brian Howard, even had his name on my shirt a couple of years back, but just think this is the right time for him to leave the club because i just dont think his heart is with this club no more.
No,its a ludicrous situation for a club in our position. We get Anderson back which should have allowed Howard more freedom to go forward and score a few .To let him go at all is barmy but to the Blunts, utterly ridiculous
Christenson, Ricketts, Austin, Kay, Reid, johnson name one of them who is good enough for the championship nuff said
RE: Christenson, Ricketts, Austin, Kay, Reid, johnson Didn't say they were just said that Davey seems to have a knack of falling out with players.
I do think that Johsnon could have done more than a job for us last season though and that Christiansen was treated like a lepper.

And that is what i said on Saturday. You never see him to get behind the players and motivate em, only speaks to em to have a go if they do owt wrong. To be honest i get the feeling that he is the problem behind the scenes
