Not surprised he doesn't fit in ..... Howard is a good footballer who thrives in a passing team. He must get neck-ache at Blunts watching the ball sail over his head all the time - same with Beattie, but at least the ball lands near him occasionally. Thought he looked really lost in the Palace game, as there were so few opportunities for him to get the ball down and play. Liam Lawrence was a ball-player who kept his place at Stoke last season in a similar style of team. I would not be at all surprised if Howard sees his future away from Bramall Lane, having tasted the 'wild side.'

Can't agree with you Poet. We have done way better without him and look how worse off Blunts are with him. Plus it would mean no place in the side for Colace, which doesn't work for me (I think he's better than De Silva).

Neil Eardley is a great prospect and full Welsh international at 19 years old. Even if we didn't play him, he would be better off up front than Ode lol.
I might be wrong but... ...didnt Sheff Utd pay most of the fee as a loan fee so we got that money no matter what. Surely if they send him back then we can just sell him and make twice as much? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
