I don't know what the blunts were expecting - they haven't played anything like proper football for years, it has always been physical 'knock it long and get yer elbow in' stuff for them. Buying one decent footballing midfielder wasn't suddenly going to spark a wave of dutch football was it?

To be fair, with Howard, I'd rather we had him than didn't. I'd have him back - and any fan who says otherwise is cutting their nose off to spite their face as far as I'm concerned.

 

I was told that he was on 8k at Sheff u, they told Reading he was on 10k, so Reading offered him 12k. Sheff u went along to get shut of him.

 

I'm thinking more about the fact we wanted to move only to Sheff U because they were local. Personally speaking I hope he does well, good laker on his day
