    I have it on good authority that if Davey persists on playing Brian out on the left wing then he won't sign a new contract.

    He's already in contract talks...

    And was getting close to an agreement as I understand it. (as were some of the other members of the team)

    Contracts aren't that difficult to negotiate. Most other teams

    have signed up at least some of their OOC players. Contracts at Oakwell do seem to prove more of a stumbling block than elsewhere.
