You know when the ref booked the wrong man yesterday - should've been a second yellow for Howard. Well, a friend tells me the fourth official has included this error in his match report. I am not sure on the rules in such cases. If video evidence confirms the error, is there any action can be taken? My mate reckons Howard could receive a suspension for this, which would be all we need.
Can't see how they can change the refs yellow card decisions after the event! Especially as another player would have been playing with the knowledge that he had got a yellow card and must be extra careful. Unfair if they change it now.
hecky got booked but it should have been howard, he was late and from behind, i said at the time he's off then he booked hecky
Well if they're reviewing the ref's decisions... We'll have a penalty and replay the last half hour with Clarke sent off then seeing as he should have gone for his reckless tackle on Richards.
I must say I'm sceptical I can't see how this can be retrospectively corrected. The person who told me heard it on FiveLive and the talk was of potential suspension. I must say, I've never heard of such action occuring to any team or player in the past.
Apparently it can be If the ref sends a player off and it turns out from looking at the video that it wasnt a foul then the ref can't go back and remove the red card anymore like he was previously able to. Under the new rules cards can only be changed after the event in the case of 'mistaken identity'.
Presumably this means that the Football league (or whoever) will have the power to correct the card after the game.
BUT if the fourth official did notice it then he would have told the referee at the time or at the very least at half time and it would have been addressed then.

I thought he booked hecky for the first tackle hence where the freekick was from. Saying that i'd had a wee drinky
Has included all the other stuff he got wrong? Why wasn't Nat Clarke given a second yellow for his challenge from behind? The ref DID award a free kick, but Clarke then went off for some treatment. I'm assuming he forgot to caution him when he returned.
Summed the ref up but as Hecky apparently told the ref it was his challenge in order to prevent howard being sent off his booking will stand and also Howard will receive a suspension as he would have for being sent off, it does make sense to me, hecky perverted the course of justice, hence is guilty
