    he didnt play for the top of the league reserves the other day for the first time this season. so they went and lost to bottom of the league bradford without him. looking forward to starting again on saturday against tranmere at boundary park.

    Sounds like a bloody star - they can't function without him, what will they do when Real Madrid sign him at the end of the season?!

    you got it all wrong. it was steve bruce scouting him at the walsall match last weekend when he skimmed top of the bar with a 25 yard volley after 30 minutes.

    I'll give you a tip cocker.......</p>

    When managers/assistants/scouts go to games they tend to be watching a few players sometimes even none at all. They just go to have a look at teams and then make judgements on any player they see.</p>

    Don't want to piss on thi bonfire toffee but tha talking knackers again.....</p>

    but didnt arsenal sign pennant from a lower league and they are a better club then birmingham.
    wasnt pennant 16 and not 19 like chris ?
    least chris has some 1st team experience unlike pennant.

    point is it doesnt matter how much someone as played at 1st team level. if there is potential then you get snapped up.
