he didnt play for the top of the league reserves the other day for the first time this season. so they went and lost to bottom of the league bradford without him. looking forward to starting again on saturday against tranmere at boundary park.
He didn't play for the reserves so they lost Sounds like a bloody star - they can't function without him, what will they do when Real Madrid sign him at the end of the season?!
RE: He didn't play for the reserves so they lost you got it all wrong. it was steve bruce scouting him at the walsall match last weekend when he skimmed top of the bar with a 25 yard volley after 30 minutes.
RE: He didn't play for the reserves so they lost He was specifically scouting this guy who has only had a couple of 1st team appearances was he?
So you have a hot line with Brucie? How the **** do you know he was scouting him?</p> Steve Bruce goes to watch a player that has just got in Oldhams first team?</p> I'll give you a tip cocker.......</p> When managers/assistants/scouts go to games they tend to be watching a few players sometimes even none at all. They just go to have a look at teams and then make judgements on any player they see.</p> Don't want to piss on thi bonfire toffee but tha talking knackers again.....</p>
RE: So you have a hot line with Brucie? this tells you he was at the game. didnt he sign dj campbell who had little experience at this level we play at ? http://www.oldhamathletic-mad.co.uk/news/loadrprt.asp?cid=MTCH&id=268430
RE: So you have a hot line with Brucie? a link to the fact he was being watched by steve bruce. http://boards.footymad.net/mboard/fmb.php?tno=404&fid=195&sty=2&act=1&mid=2137581212
Hadn't DJ Campbell........ played the majority of games in a succesful side, scored goals and tore a premiership side to threads?</p> Hmmmm.....I await a a rediculous response.</p> 2 1st team games will not warrant a premier league move young 'un - factamundo</p>
RE: Hadn't DJ Campbell........ but didnt arsenal sign pennant from a lower league and they are a better club then birmingham. wasnt pennant 16 and not 19 like chris ? least chris has some 1st team experience unlike pennant. point is it doesnt matter how much someone as played at 1st team level. if there is potential then you get snapped up.
I am sorry to be so wrong....... a message board with words that state it in black and white. My god I never realised that everything on this board as well was......</p> True and backed up with facts Never wrote in jest Gay
Jermaine Pennant was starring for........ England youth at the time, oh and also was the youngest player to ever play for Notts County who are the side you are talking about. </p> Pennant.........Child prodigy.</p> Chris Taylor - Likes The Prodigy.</p>
