I went to the annual H. Reds player of the year awards last night and as per usual it was a great night once again.Nyatanga won the player of the year and Holgate won the young player.Lee Johnson attended with Mark Crossley and he made a great speech about his plans and how much the fans mean to himself and the players. Barry Murphy received an award for his services to the reds and he made a passionate speech about the fans and he's convinced that Johnson is the man to take us back "to where we belong, the Championship"There was also an award for Jack Mawby who passed recently and which was received by his wife Janet and grandson Jack.Entertainment was provided by Coyote who are one of the best rock bands on the circuit at the moment.A superb night once again full marks to Paul and Ged for there organisation of a great night out.
