We have to face down Griffin and Brons wherever they rear their heads. On July 14th, they will be in Strasbourg for the first sitting of the European Parliament. We'll be there as well - delivering a petition saying that the BNP do not represent Britain - that they are not there in my name. An amazing 30,000 people have signed this petition already - I want you to sign it next:

Not being facetious or owt but what will this achieve?

Whether we like it or not the BNP were elected under the rules of the system in place and that's all there is to it

Will those petitioning call for another election? I doubt it and even if they do they won't get one

The rest of europe have voted in similar right wing groups

I know Holland have elected more seats to their own fascist party than we have.

and I sincerely hope the right minded people of Holland are as deeply embarrassed and ashamed as we are/should be, and arrange their own similar protest.

    Just tried to sign up

    But got this:-

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_id() on a non-object in /home/searchlondon/htdocs/modules/signup/signup.inc.php on line 628

I've done a bit of PHP myself, but never seen that error before.

I didnt vote for them but they were democratically elected and therefore have as much right to their seat as any other party or are we saying they have no right to be elected just because we dont agree with their politics?

    You've missed the point ********

the idea of the petition, as stated in the title, is to show Europe and the rest of the world that the Nazis dont represent us, the highlight the fact that whilst the media can jump on this headline story, the figures show there are only a small number of people voting BNP, and that on a personal level, registering the fact that you dislike what they stand for.

Do you understand it now or do you want it in large print?
