it was put back to 12 due to worries about public transport on new years eve. but i think the club confirmed that it was definately 3 after it checks were made about the times that buses/trains were running up to.

Not that I know of, but I wouldnt mind finding out.

The huddersfield examiner reported it as changing to 3.00, but both ours and huddersfields websites still say 12.00.

Paul d said on Friday that he phoned the club and they confirmed it was 3.00. Don't think its been on the website though.

    RE: Huddersfield match-academy

The academy got a good review in the papers on monday.5 academy players in the team and 4 on the bench. It also mentioned a club lottery winner of £20000,where have we gone wrong?

Why the F*ck are we playing at 3pm??

Biggest crowd of season expected, fierce rivals, its new years eve need i go on.

I can't even believe we are playing anyway,do the numpty's in charge not realise people make plans for this night more than any other.

So it was 12 which would have allowed me to get upto Toon for night in comfortable time, now its 3!! It will be carnage

5'000 Hudders fan with a good portion in Tarn from midday starting early, all hell will break loose

    FANTASTIC

    Well done FL

    Theres no pleasing people!

Some people would find a midday kick off to be a pain as well - at least it hasn't been moved - it's a Saturday and it's at 3pm as normal

No you're right there is no pleasing some people

    I'M F*CKIN FURIOUS

So you think playing New Years Eve or even New Years Day is acceptable do you?? We shouldn't be playing either

Tell you what why not move Yeovil away to Christmas Eve and or even Hartlepool home to Lunchtime Christmas day while we are at it!!

Another example of the FL not giving a flying f*ck about fans.

I only tolerated playing this day in first place because i thought "well at least they have had common sense to make it an early kick off"

    I agree.

Everyone will be out doing there own thing New years eve, why cant it be 12olock? I've always gone out about 6 oclock. This means me rushing back from the match, freezing cold, get changed and try to make time for food to get out for 6oclock. And i'am only a 10-15mins walk away from ground.

Probably end up wasting a page in my book now. Gutted with the 3 oclock kick off.

Stupid! If Rotherham can call off a match due to pathetic international duties because a couple of there young en's got call up's who rarely even started a hand full of games between them for club, then why cant we have a 12 oclock kick off.

( thought it was 12loclock up until now ) fecked off.

Yes but the celebration is in the evening - and at midnight, so a 3pm kick off seems fine.

Of course it won't suit everyone, but neither would an earlier kick off

Yes I do think playing New Years Eve (when it's a Saturday) or New Years Day acceptable.

Traditionally there are always games on New Years Day and at least it's a local derby

Spoke to manager at HTFC today when I was working over there; she had complained to police about change so late in the season.

    Nice 1. Better atmosphere.

The police should be kept busy aswell.

What we don't want is the police kept busy or they will keep changing our kick off times.

    Violence 100% Certain

i know a huddersfield holigan and he said what they will be catching a train to dodworth then getting taxis to the ground to avoid a police escort at the barnsley station. he expects to be in a police cell before the match. but any that dont get caught will be going already drunk straight into barnsley town centre straight after the match.

Whats the point of him going then? Why bother if he expects to be in a cell before the game so he wont get to watch it?
