I am sure that if we were bottom of the form table and they were champions elect we'd still beat 'em. Or it may be just feels that way. Either way, I love playing Huddersfield. :)

I thought they were a good team too. They've got a lot of quality players.

    Vaughan
    Scannell
    Clayton
    Hammill
    Norwood
    Hogg

    I'd have any of them.

BBC website said they'd not lost to us in 5 out of the last 6 league meetings. They beat us at Oakwell last season.

Huddersfield will be no where near the relegation shake up this season. Very decent side.

Must admit I thought they'd be better than they were. Heard so much hype about them over the last week. I also thought they were very direct.

Before yesterday we had lost three of our last six games against them so dunno where you get that idea from.

Playing hoofball? That seemed to be their main tactic in the second half ... high ball into vaughan

Bet their keeper got some stick yesterday. A few times they could have had us on a counter but he dithered about that much, our defense were comfortably back in our own half before he sent it out.

Like our hoofball tactics of high ball (usually from Kennedy) to COG.

I know, I know - I didn't think the facts would back up the theory. I think it is perhaps that a few of our more memorable games have been against them. I am thinking the 7-1, the play off semi, and last season's final game, even though we didn;t actually win that one either :)

You mean Kennedy playing intelligent balls into O'Grady who held it up and brought others into the game ? That 'hoof' ball ?

Huddersfield were fcking w@nk 2nd half, it was only our poor defending that gave them their goal. James Vaughan is absolute quality and they never played to his strengths, they just launched it, more so when Stead came on. Had they carried on playing through Clayton they might have done something.

I never said we didn't - I didn't see this great football from Huddersfield - just a chipped ball into the air for vaughan

Chipped balls down the middle nearly caught us out a few times, that seemed like there only plan.

Hoofball? Really? They're generally accurate balls into his chest or to his feet down the left hand side not big punt's forward where the striker's only got a 50% chance of getting it.
