His posts can be tiresome sometimes, but I see him as a real fan that's merely taken losing every other week for the past 8 years slightly less well than the rest of us.
People forget that he Is the first to congratulate the team when we get a positive result. Its just all the Wilson lovers who have an issue with him.
I'm a "Wilson lover" and I don't have an issue with him, I just don't agree on the subject of the manager.
Not the greatest fan I know but a fan all the same, seen many ups and downs since my first game in 76, overall more ups than downs but of late I have found better things to do with my time than witness the football side of our club in such a poor state. I think my views on the management are well know and maybe I've laboured the point a little too much. The current situation is not what anyone wants. Glass half full from now on promise. Up the Reds.
Top marks to you fella...... strangely enough my first game was in 1976 too.....mi dad took me the bar steward...now look at me! Weirdly I took mi old fella to Donny yesterday....first time he has been in years....his verdict.... cr.ap ....won't be going again if that's what it is like regular!! utr
Mine was the same, wish he was still around to take to a game, make the most of it Reev, not the football the time spent with your dad. First game was Southend at home Alan Little played for them, think we signed him the following week. Could you imagine him in today's team?
Know what ya mean about mi dad.....time marches on and waits for no fekker. As for Alan Little....his type would be just what we need now. hth.............anyway I am off back to being daft now!
Fan. I'm fully aware that Huddersfield Red holds opinions polar opposite to mine with regards to the manager, club, team, players, the town and it's inhabitants. But I have no doubts he's a fan.
Depends how we define things I suppose. I presume he is some sort of fan. However he allows his dislike of individuals to overcome supporting his team which is a shame.
Shock waves are sent through the atmosphere as thereev and HR have a sensible and we'll mannered chat.
Agree re. making the most of it. It was my dad who got me into Barnsley (I'm from down south and have only ever lived down here) but he got me hooked and I wish he was still around to take to games, passed away 2 years ago and the last game we saw together was the Birmingham game on tele, he was too ill to make games by that stage unfortunately and that game meant so much to him. Still blame him mind! Causes me so much stress but I can't imagine a world without my love of Barnsley!
