Wouldn't be happy with that if I was a Huddersfield fan, what is it with the fashion for making traditionally striped shirts have a plain back?!

Makes it easier to read the names, numbers and potential back-of-shirt sponsor at a guess.......

but looks crap on a replica shirt.

Much better when they had a sew-on patch with the number on as they did in the old days!

RE: Please don't be offended, but...

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,
When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on
Don't let yourself go, 'cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes

Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on

'Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone

If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on

    Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes
And everybody hurts sometimes. So, hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts. You are not alone

Isn't "modern classic kit" an oxymoron?

Wouldn't the phrase "Retro kit" work better.

    Merging Wednesday and United

As I tell my colleague at work who is a Wednesday fan, I think I've come up with a solution to settling his clubs debt problems and enabling him to watch Premiership football again. Merge with United.

Take the "Sheffield" out of Sheffield Wednesday and the "United" out of Sheffield United to make the new team name

The white stripes, the black shorts and socks that from the Wednesday kit and the red stripes in the United kit to make the shirt

Then flatten Hillsborough and build houses on it
