Unlikely. But how many questions do West Yorkshire Police have to answer about this incident? We are not living in Colombia (yet).
Really ? Have you heard something we haven't? Innocent until proven guilty is the foundation of our democracy. Is it the colour of his skin that convinces you ?
Not personally. However I do know people who know of him... That's outside of the media frenzy around all this. How about you? Did you know him? Well enough to say he was a proper good lad....
I daresay he wasn't a proper good lad at all. I could be wrong, but all this sorry incident shows once again is the ludicrous folly of the "war on drugs", which has done minus f*ck all to reduce the harm to users, while creating crime and criminals where there need not be any.
Whatever he's like as a person it looks very bad that in a pre planned operation the police didn't wear cameras to cover their backs. Now it looks odd to people that they didn't for example shoot him in his leg so he'd drop the gun then cuff him. To alot killing anyone outright just looks the easy way out at dealing with a situation. We thankfully aren't America.
The guy was unemployed and owner top of the range cars even a lambo I'm no detective but I think he may have bought those through the proceeds of crime like another poster says he was a big player in the drug game. Armed Police stopped his car with a tip off they asked him to put his hands on the wheel where they could see them he reached over he got shot and a gun was found in the foot well. Play with fire get burned, play with fire arms get shot simple sithi...
His mate apparently had a loaded semi automatic with him. I think the police should have politely tapped on the windscreen and asked nicely if they'd mind stepping out. I don't think some folk appreciate the mentality of who the police have to deal with at times. Sent from the darkest recesses of a poisoned mind.
