I am going around Huddersfield on Friday afternoon what pubs are likely to be the busiest,I am starting in the head of Steam at 3.00pm if anyone wants to tag along
Work your way down King Street, avoiding Cotton Factory. So the likes of Lloyds, Varsity (sign up for a V card for free) and Warehouse (sign up for a yellow card for free). Aspley Mariner on Wakefield Road is a fine place to eat and if it's warm sit next to the canal bridge. I'm going to Huddersfield on Sunday night and should be on the guest list for Toyko to save queuing and paying (Y) (Y) (Y)
Used to be good until the new owners took over. Went in for a drink last month and for two pints of Strongbow and a pint of coke, it came to over 9 quid. I guess they charge more simply for the surroundings more than anything. Oh and if it's open check out the Chinese drinks bar a little further up by Subway. 241 cocktails around 9 o clock and if it's quiet they aren't that strict. We got the offer the other week around 8 ish.
