Davey said he's definitely out for Saturday, and Anderson is having a scan, but he could be back.

95% sure on two signings and 60% on another two.

Step up to the plate Jacob Butterfield.

    Fckng hope not

Wednesday away is not the place to be fielding 'development' players. Men not boys.

He's had a great pre-season. Probably the maturest 'development' player.

Got to give him a proper chance this season. After all folk are claiming him to be the new 'Brian Howard'.

could be what he needs. freeish role in midfield to pass the ball to 2 wingers on a bigish pitch.

    As it stands...

...what other option does he have? Apart from Bobby in midfield obviously.

If he's good enough, he should play. That's what this squad is for and we'll never know unless they get out on the pitch.

Butterfield had a great first half on Sat

Thought he drifted out of the game second half.

Not convinced he is the next Brian Howard yet but may well become one.

With a fit Colace and Andersson he wouldnt get a start but I dont think he will get eaten alive by Wednesday

Is Andersson fit to Play against the fowls?

Squad looking a bit thin until we sign a new Centre half, Hammill, full back, etc

    Saturday

at Hillsbro, full house, 100 miles an hour derby match is not the place to be giving time to young, development players. We go there to battle and to win. If Davey plays Butterfield from the start, then our squad really is waffer thin or he's mental.

No, no and no. Foster is not a fecking right back.

He's the best defender at the club and should be played in his natural position.
