'Hugo Colace then showed great awareness to pick the right pass through the heart of the Buxton defence and send Iain Hume away on 20 minutes'</p> Exactly the type of player we've been crying out for if he can do this sort of thing consistently. We don't have nearly enough creativity in the side, lets hope he can be the key. </p>
Don't get too excited just yet mate, certainly not trying to knock him but some fellas on here have probably played at the near the standard that Buxton play at. I hope he turns out to be a cracking signing and he can do it week in week out against much stronger opposition though! (Y)
Yeah I know it's only Buxton, but he is the only player mentioned doing such a thing. It doesn't matter if it's Buxton or Real Madrid, a defence splitting ball is a defence splitting ball in any language. Im talking ballax now
I became really disillusioned at reading that report from the 'Times' s South American correspondent Fletcher when he more or less 'laughed at' us signing Colace, saying he had an awful lot to prove. The intimation behind the report was that Colace, was in fact rubbish, and that his agent had been trying to get him to the English Leagues for a while. We can believe owt we read in the papers. I hope Colace comes good because I read this and it initially soured my thoughts about him until I got real and remembered it was all 'Paper talk garbage' I will allways wait to see the player but it's a bum deal when stuff like this is spouted about the player being crap before he has kicked a ball in the English League. ' Come on Colace ! ' I'll be right behind him Can't believe for a minute he's a crap as the Times correspondent for South American football said he was.
He didn't really say crap....... just tried to imply he was your run of the mill utility type player, wasn't it only 4/5 years ago he was captain of an Argentine Under 20's team including Mascherano and Teves, i'm quite excited at the prospect but i'd rather see the lad for myself than pass judgement (dancin)
Yes. I accept that. He did say that. I suppose what I was trying to say is that most on here would, having read that report imply that Colace was 'crap' I hate the word personall,y but his report was just sweeping over the one word sentiment 'crap' It's really cheered me up to know he has looked ok tonight, regardless of the opposition. It just shows the power of the media though. I have to assume that that report was hilighted through Rivals such as Wednesday still waiting in hope for the big 'take over' and the Blades 'We are a big club ' and we want compensation of about 10 million from the Tevez affair that caused us to be relegated! yawn
