Having a poor season for me

Nice touches but his distribution is deteriorating. He's not as keen in the tackling stakes and seems to lose possession a lot this season.

Should be second fiddle to Halfredsson on current form.

Thought he did well on Tuesday

Him and Doyle stopped WBA from playing. But we needed more creativity today.

    Agree ...

He was a complete passenger today ... certainly didn't play like someone trying to keep his place in the team!

A lot of what he does is unnoticed, but he's a grafter who breaks play up even if he doesn't win the ball himself.

He pressures the player with the ball in to making mistakes ie. rushed, inaccurate passess, etc. which we quite often win the ball back.

He doesn't need to win the ball every time if the rest of the team are pressuring the ball.

Always been a big fan of Colace but....

Yesterday the game really did seem to be going on around him. Robin's was right to take him off, Halfredson did more in the 15 mins he had than Colace and Doyle did all game.

Colace had an off day against Ipswich...........but Doyle again was brilliant....

............a succesful team always has a strong spine and we seem to have developed that now

Good goalkeeper (no matter who is in goal), Moore, Doyle, Macken

I can't see where you get that from, it wasn't the best of games to get the ball under control. I thought his passing was more direct, and got his foot in when needed. Other players also struggled today, Humes passing was poor and JCR was slower than there full back and couldn't get the beating of him yet we still had plenty of chances and won the game. What more do people expect?

People are allowed to make observations.

Collace is a good player, but today he wasnt up to his usual standard.

What is Colace's usual standard? for me it don't get much better than that.

RE: People are allowed to make observations.

he usually wins loads of tackles and breaks the play up. today he missed timed a few tackles. The plus point is that we now have a manager and he took himoff

I think the Manager has noticed that our weakness for the last fews seasons has been Centre Midfield, thats why Doyle is in there. Hallfredsson looks twice the player of Colace. For me Colaces usual standard hasn't been good enough and what we got today is his standard. What we need from Colace is performances like he had against Burnley.

    I agree

Was really poor yesterday, don't think he's done much wrong the rest of the season though so mybe it's just an off day.
