If you were there you would know Colace had just run half the length of the pitch to help El Haimour dispossess his man, so unsurprisingly he was shattered. Colace did a lot of running tonight so keep shut if you don't know.

To be fair, It was Colace who had just given it away in attack and although he did help win the ball back he had at one point given up the chase. It was el Hamouir holding it up that gave him the chance to give up.

I agree, Colace is overrated, but then I also think this of Mr.inconsistancy De Silva.

Do you actually watch the fecking games?

He's been consistently one of our best players all season. Strong in the tackle, rarely gives the ball away. Protects the back four, so our more 'creative' players can get forward.

    Pathetic.

Yes, so pathetic is a bit childish.

It's all about opinions, I think he's poor.

    yes, i do mate

    its not pathetic.

if you look closer he is very weak in the tackle. offers little going forward. he is however good positionally.

RE: "run half the length of the pitch"

yeah i'm serious. if you read the rest of my post instead of cutting a caption out you would see i had said he put a lot of work in all night. this was the 94th minute of the match and he'd just ran back to make a tackle on coventry's very pacey winger. el haimour stood him up and colace got a tackle in, unfortunately we lost possession again and he was knackered and out of position.

i think we've become accustomed to his good performances and those who say he offers nothing to the team obviously don't understand the role of a defensive midfielder. he gives other midfielders the opportunity to go forward without worrying about them breaking.

Why have we always got to find a scapegoat after every disappointing result?

    I partly agree

I don't think Colace has been much good since the turn of the new year. I think he backs out of every challenge,

doesn't take a touch and just hoofs the long ball forward. However, i thought he looked decent in the first half of

the seasn and i don't think its fair to place the blame solely at his feet.

    precisely

he backs out of challenges which is why I do not rate him.

    and it costs us goals.

    like it did last night.

    RE: precisely

So you'd rather see a clogger who doesn't pull out of a tackle than an actual footballer?

Look at the number of points gained with Colace in the side and then those without him in the side.

I was at coventry last night and i thaught colace was superb to put it blunt. the midfield as a whole never stopped battleling for the entire game, the 94th min equaliser was gutting but the performace had lots of character and passion so lets see the pros and not the cons for a change like we have done all season. makes no wonder we are were we are with negative fickle fans that we have supporting us, makes me laugh.
