The good news Tiger fans is; thankfully, Barnsley have League One rubberstamped all over them, so it looks like we have to avoid the other two places to spare us the same fate. Regrettably, tonight, Hull City did an abysmal job of boosting survival hopes and will surely follow the Tykes through the trapdoor come May if comical defending like you've never seen reigns supreme from now until then. Yes, dear reader not one, not even a jaw dropping two but THREE - yes THREE - gilt edged chances fell straight into Barnsley's lap without a whisp of genuine attacking creativity needed by the hosts to capatilise. Sheer good fortune and woeful lacks of concentration unstitched this 'pencilled in' success story.

(fishin) (wnkr) .. Cos there going down, dont they realise they just got a 3-0 woooping.

Bless them. They'll enjoy trips to the likes of Donny and Brighton next season.

    where's their arrogance come from?

looking over their board and the general attitude is that they should be beating "teams like Barnsley"

im not bothered like, but wonder if its their new ground as throughout my footballing life time Hull have always been , you know, well ... a bit crap.

I've got to agree there..... Throughout all my football years too Hull City have been on a par with us or ina lower division until recently. Apart from 1975 to 1979 when they had Billy Bremner at some time.

So, they based all that on seeing us once? Well, I have seen them once this season as well (missed the away game as I was out of the country), so I can confidently saw thay will finish bottom.

It's amazing what you can predict on a sample size of 1 !

That's twice they've been "UNLUCKY" to an inferior team

6 points lost to Barnsley makes them worse than L**ds.

When do you think the penny will drop? Half way through next season when they find themselves in round 1 of the FA cup, and ... oh ****, what happened we're too good for this

Most (not all) of the City fans I know think they are too good to go down, quite a laughable statement if you think where they spent the majority of the last 15 years!

Any team that can concede 3 goal to us (twice!) must be dead cert for relegation.

As for the mighty HKR, all I can say is the table doesn't lie. Rovers for the Grand Final, FC for relegation. :D

    Lets Hope........

the Hull reporter is not onto something when he says we will go down. One decent win out of how many games, against a crap team is nothing to get carried away over. Least we showed passion in a local derby for a change.

And contrast that with the Leeds fans I know

who are almost resigned to relegation!
