Hull manager Peter Taylor has declared an interest in Barnsley ace Stephen McPhail. The Irish international helped the Tykes into The Championship after they sealed a play-off victory over Swansea. Taylor, though, is now taking a keen interest as McPhail is out of contract at Oakwell. "He's a player on my list and he's one we have been looking at," Taylor said. "He's on my list. That's all I'm prepared to say." Taylor also confirmed that a permanent move for Alan Rogers - from Nottingham Forest - is set to be completed after he impressed on loan at The KC Stadium last term. "As I understand it, it is all ready to go," he said.
