Hull City manager Phil Brown is planning another bid to sign Italian star Christian Vieri. The former Inter Milan and Lazio striker considered a shock move to the Championship club this summer before deciding to sign a 12-month contract with Fiorentina. He has struggled to settle at the Italian club and now Brown is hoping to lure him to the KC Stadium on a short-term deal. Brown is keen to strengthen his attacking options after missing out on Birmingham's Rowan Vine.
If They Get Him - LUCKY G*TS

you know he's an aussie-italian
He went with his heritage when he went over to Europe..... but his culture wouldn't make him a martian in Hull. Not having a dig at anytribe here, like.

Phil Brown doing what his mentor, Big Sam, did best perhaps? Bringing aging foreigners to England and getting a few more good years out of them?
