Nobody would take the risk. He would have to play for us to prove he is still capable of playing. He is not going anywhere this side of next January

after long lay off, it will take time for Hume to be worth the same amount.
It would be a gamble for another club to pay that unless he's knocking em in left right and center.
And if he was scoring regularly he'd be happy and would stay with the club which supported him.

I bet he's just thinking about recovering, hoping to play again, and hoping to repay the fantastic support that Barnsley as a club, town, and support have shown to him this season after the 'challenge'.
