I believed in their honesty, I can’t deal with dishonesty’. Or words to that effect. So only under Johnson have Tories displayed and dishonesty… ok then flower. Good grief.
My Nan's the same. Wonderful woman, absolutely one of the kindest hearts you're ever likely to meet. But the Daily Mail has had her hook, line and sinker since the 50s. You can't easily undo that sheer amount of brainwashing.

Yep, my Nan is exactly the same! Don’t think she’s a clue what goes on but she’s spent 92 years being drip fed stuff like “unions are bad” and “blame immigrants”. I have calm, sensible conversations with her about stuff she’s seen on The news but i can’t imagine she’ll ever change her vote. Especially seen as the concept of ‘media bias’ genuinely blows her mind. “No smoke without fire” apparently!
I saw the same interview and just put my head in my hands, but, unfortunately there will always be people that live with the devil take the hind most attitude.
