Its sad, but that is the way it seems to be with Scotland and Wales. I would like us all to qualify but like you say the feeling isnt mutual.

....I will give you that **** cause from my personal experience that is the very **** i experienced growing up with in Barnsley. I tend to get the impression that you faced a very similar situation whilst north of the border which is unfortunate but I get the impression of an aggressive, angry person from the tone and language of your statements, which may have been the reason for your uncomfortable stay. The difference, I think between you and me is, I grew out of my ignornance and learnt to accept different cultures and to fit into foreign lands, which I feel if you had done you would have found that the majority of Scottish people warm and welcoming

i'm suprised that they know what fire is, the last time I was there they had about 10 sheep wrapped around them trying to keep warm - well i think they were trying to keep warm.

to be fare the shop assistant at the coop in menai bridge did smile at me, shame they were called Daffyd.......!
