Special mention on behalf of the Wednesday fans for the referee for being their 11th man even when they'd had someone sent off Some of those shoves they got away with were comical
What baffled me somewhat was Jim blocked Lavery off and the ref gave them a free kick, fair enough but Onyewu didn't win one ball all afternoon without trying to rip the shirt off of our players backs and when he'd successfully wrestled them to the ground and taken the ball the ref just waved play on when every one was a clear foul. it's the lack of consistency in refereeing decisions that infuriates most people i'd imagine.
Did Danny even know which fans were singing give us a wave. Usually a manager just sticks his hand up without even looking. The Wednesday fans did it as a piss take and that ******** on RS highlighted it
