I very much doubt I would have rented it on DVD. Even when it eventually got shown on the telly I would have probably given it a miss. I have a feeling the film will be crap and it's not really my thing. However, I'm going to make damn sure I watch it now. I'm not having some fruitcake dictator decide what I can and can't watch. All of which makes me think, if this is a publicity stunt by the film makers/Sony, it's absolutely ******* brilliant. I wonder what the takings will be if Sony do a u-turn, bow to pressure from the liberal west and put the film on? $billions? If it's real, the world has gone bonkers. If anyone buys the new Ford Fiesta we'll bomb any car showroom where the car is on sale. However, if people buy the new North Korean made Kimjung Bagabolts, we'll step down our rocket testing - Yours, North Korea.
If it is real world then A ******* dictator who feeds his uncle to dogs is censoring what we can watch ? Good to see the democratic powerful West standing up for its citizens
To be honest if Kim Jong-Un could censor some of the ***** I'm going to have to watch at my in-laws over Christmas I'm all for it.
It's had bad reviews and was looking like a turkey. Sony have pulled the plug as an insurance write-off for reasons of 'terrorism'. Sony get all production costs back.
