I'm sorry the team is going to sink & sink unless we have new owners.

Wish I wasn't posting this, but it is the truth.

Good bye for now, as I can't support a team that is so badly run.

Pretty much he I feel. We need some positive news and fast. Even flowery statements about the desire to be a real community based club would give us summat to hang onto.

Jimmy, you are a Barnsley FC man & music man I have yet to meet.

I hope we meet for a pint.

At the moment BFC is a million miles from my worries about making a living out of music, being true to myself & my friends.
I'm waiting for any message, statement, anything. At the moment I'm as close to being done with it as I have been in 40 years as a supporter.

    Mansford ARE YOU READING????

When we were getting the statements from the club saying everything was going to be okay, Bobby Hassell was quoted as saying that things were looking far from rosy and we're in a bit of trouble. Something along the lines of us going to struggle with the money we're offering. At the time we just put it down to the typical bitter attitude of a player being told he wasn't wanted at the club...

I am starting to get slightly concerned at the moment though, as in the last 3 weeks before the season starts we shouldn't be having to look around to cobble a team together. Ideally our starting line up should be bonding, training together and getting games under their belt by now, so that we can hit the ground running come the first game of the season. As it is, it is quite likely that half the team for the first game of the season aren't even at the club yet. I really can't recall such an underprepared pre-season.

Aye there are definitely more pressing concerns like love and law and poetry oh these are the things that kill me...

Having lived away from Barnsley pretty much all my adult life. Football and supporting Barnsley always gave me a link to where I'm from and a feeling of local pride. This has got less and less over the last few years. I'd like it back whether it's gone forever I'm not sure.

Anyway last word to the Disposables.
