.... Danny has now seen "that there are some big defenders in League one". So now he wants a big striker for"physicality" upfront. He's "changed his mind" and is "looking for a big man to play up front". Who else could possibly have worked all this out so quickly? No other manager!! No manager could possibly have known before the season started that the other teams might possibly play big defenders. So there was little point trying to build a team over the close season that included a forward who could hold the ball up. So it's great that Danny is reacting so promptly now he's seen some big defenders. Onwards and upwards!
are you serious? i'm not taking the pi$$. most people would have told you the day we got relegated, that he would need a big man up front. it's league 1. IMO this is not danny reacting promptly. it's danny reacting way too slowly, to something blatantly obvious.
It scares me that Danny didn't know league one contained big physical players, especially as he has spent he majority of managerial career in division one.
"most people would have told you the day we got relegated, that he would need a big man up front. it's league 1. IMO this is not danny reacting promptly. it's danny reacting way too slowly, to something blatantly obvious." I would never have said that. But is it not the truth?
Don't recall us having Andre the Giant upfront the last twice we were promoted from this league. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
