But i tell you what its hard at the minute!! BUT...... We are only 3 league games into the season. Lets not push the BIG panic button just yet!! Lets not kid ourselves - Its going to be a major major battle to turn this around but it IS possible!! Our management team have proved in the past that they are perfectly capable to turn out winning football teams, over a sustained period, not a flash in the pan! They have been at the club for 8 weeks(?). Lets not forget that for 7 of them we were all very very impressed by what we were seeing - The last week has been awful! We have no money to throw at things so we need to roll our sleeves up and work hard. That didnt happen against Southampton on Sat - I didnt think we were great at getting in Boros faces last night and battling them but maybe there was a slight improvement?? The most worrying thing to me is the passing. Our defenders do not look comfortable. Edwards, McEvleley and Foster dont look comfortable enough to be trying to do what we are doing!! Felt abit for Wiseman getting some stick last night for his passing, he had no options whatso-ever in front of him! Our play going forward is woeful but lets not forget players will still be learning each others runs and movements ect. We need to try and stay positive - Its hard i know - But lets not implode as a club and all be against each other. We need to be in this together. Lets try and be patient eh..... And remember - at the moment we are 20th - Meaning 4 teams have so far been worse than us!! If that continues then we will be just fine!! Its been a very poor start - We are all aware of that - But lets not give up.
i feel somewhat emotional after that inspiring speech mate, i almost want to go down to oakwell and appologize 4 watchin the last 15 minutes on teletext in the groggers
I don't know which I'm more annoyed about, the performances or our own so called supporters - Got a row of boo boys (and women) behind me who as soon as Boro equalized, were at it for every stray pass or over hit cross. Shouting 'lump it up front' in one breath and in the next 'get it on floor' We ain't good, there's no doubting. But where do we go from here? What's the alternative? We had no players after Robins left and we can't afford the loan players previously used to paper over the cracks. Cryne's brought in the 'alleged' best Manager we can attract and Hill's brought in the players the club can afford - They ain't Championship ready players, same as Hill ain't a Championship manager. But it's early enough in the season to learn what works and what doesn't. As BP says, 'Stay Positive' and for the clubs sake 'Get behind the Reds'
