If we play 442 it'll be that

But it wouldn't surprise me if we go to the wing backs thing.

Whatever we do, we'll lose. We have to play a natural holding player and it doesn't seem to be happening. We *might* sometimes get away with Hassell in the middle, but away from home against the promotion favourites? It doesn't look good.

    Its driving me nuts!

Why the F cant he see it. I really dont understand. Its the most important position on the field. All decent teams, in fact all teams have a holding midfielder. He must notice that teams were cutting straight through us every week and the passing was awful!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a disgrace! I think that just about everyone on here agreed that Hassell should not be playing CM come the start of this sesaon. As you've mentioned why Mr davey can't see this is beyond belief. Hassell gets caught out of position far too often, he dwells on the ball too much and his distribution is poor. It is these sort of poor selections that is going to cost us points. I really hope Hassell is not going to stay in this position until Anderson comes back into the team.

In all fairness pL the reasons why changes don't take place is not because he doesn't see the problem but because he can't. His regidity, inflexibility and unwillingness to change
has created, over a very long time, an immature outlook. He is,in my opinion, a man who is very defensive and authoritative and scared of losing control . This is why he has
to show who is the master in such an overt manner. In essence the man tries to rule by fear and if fear doesn't work or if it is challenged he then rejects and isolates the
perpetrator. Just my opinion and I accept that I could be well off the mark but I don't think I am . But nevertheless,Sorry if I have offended any one but these are purely my
    opinions based upon observation.

after last season i was sure we wouldnt see hassell in midfield again after what cryne had to say about him.do you pick an unfit colace or fully fit useless hassell and we all know which davey will go for. can't wait for the day anderson is back again.

I dont like the idea of Moore playing.

I was under the impression that he'd be a back-up to Souza and Foster with Van H playing right back.

I think Davey will try and accomodate Moore whenever he can.

he's too old and slow and should be used as an old head when we are defending a tight lead

he's a usful signing but not when it means our best CD has to play right back.

To be fair to davey he brought in colace to cover da silva, they just both happen to be injured and unfit. Hassel wont last long when one of them returns.

Out of interest, would anyone play hassel at right back and drop moore?
