I also don't believe Hill should be sacked. However, as good as the opposition today are, conceding four goals in one half, against a team in the same division, at home, is completely unacceptable. If it was a one-off after decent form, maybe write it off. But it wasn't. Hill picks his signings, yes. He picks the team, yes. He's as much to blame as anyone or anything - BUT - if today's showing of vast, VAST inferiority, to a team who were close to us in the league three months ago, doesn't prove that this endeavour to break even before any other club bothers to try will probably kill the club quicker than any amount of debt could. It's something all clubs should be doing. They aren't. And if we are going to compete next season in the championship, we are going to need one of the following: A rich buyer The next Lionel messi being available for £25,000 from Grimsby Town Devine intervention Back in the real world I will support the club back down in league one and as far as it falls, assuming next season goes as seems dangerously apparent.
We've had to do the break even die to Crynes situation. **** all to do with the league and their half arsed measures. The problem is that we can't compete at this level.
I agree Truff, I'm usually positive about BFC but on current form and the fact that we cant compete it looks like we'll definately go down next season, thats if we dont this season.
We won't go down this season. Not sure whether that's a good thing though, at least we might compete next season.
