After yesterday's performance I'm looking forward to seeing how Flitcroft can get more out of current players than Hill managed. Against Leeds Harewood & McNulty, for example, in my opinion had their best games for us this season. Now Dagnall has finally broken his duck, will he be capable of scoring on a much more regular basis?
agreed but Flitcroft did say he had targets before todays appointment, just wonder who. Perhaps he may decide to go with it as it is, after his last two results.
Despite two clean sheets on the bounce, I hope Flicker realises that there are defensive frailties in the side that need to be addressed. I'm happy with a Dagnall / Harewood partnership up front but we have no real cover for these two, we certainly can't rely on Danny Rose to come in whilst we are in a relegation scrap.
We don't know what league we'll be in next season. We can not take on any permanent contracts and salaries. Loans are the only option.
If we were to lose either Harewood or Dagnall through injury, loss of form or suspension, we look a bit lightweight with regards to numbers up front. So that area may get looked at. I could well be wrong with my suggestion the club will be reluctant to commit itself to permanent transfers, preferring to deal solely in loan signings. It certainly makes a pleasant change for us now to debate and discuss potential new signings rather than managers.
The manager may Also be looking to moving some players out that aren't in his plans. I'm looking forward to the transfer gossip and rumours over the next couple of weeks, or so.
Re: The manager may Sheeeeesh - you mean the whole Bobby H. in, out, shake it all about thing is going to get reprised?
I would be happy to see Hassel as a defence coach as a certain Mayor once said "sweat the assets", and why not I reckon Bobby would relish it too.
No Not at all. If you'd like a few names, I'd suggest the likes of Wiseman, Edwards & Collins as possibilities.
True There's also the possibility that Flitcroft may be capable of getting all the players mentioned to produce a higher standard of performance for the team, ala McNulty & Harewood.
Anyone else feel as though the results and performances all season have been when Dagnall has started?
Id like to see Etuhu and Done sold if we can manage to get anyone to take them Rob Edwards is a really wierd one - cant be purely based on skill that hes been frozen out can it? But if him and Collins wont play then we better get shut
