If we are to believe the main site that is....sorrry but its just not good enough anymore to keep throwing that up anymore..."oh oh be grateful we have a club" ****** big hairy ******..that has been used many times too often now...I hear them Whingeing about attendances..well now lets see...if we get any worse they drop..and if we get relegated they bloody well PLUMMET...... along with the bank balance... they said that last season was to survive , this season to develop/consolidate..next season to challenge...well we are just about to enter into a survival battle now...back to the drawing board is it....oh but sorry I am supposed to be grateful aint I.

    actually yes I do...

all we get is how they want Nyatanga,De Silva and Macken back ..and I do not see any of them coming...maybe Macken but I am doubtful. As someone has said below the eggs seem to be all in one basket...meanwhile 8 points from the last possible 30 is nothing less than relegation fodder.....your call.

I agree 8 from 30 is relegation fodder but I can't tell the future we may win the next 2/3 games I just don't know.Regarding transfers SD has already said he wants the famous 3 back and if he can't he will move on to other targets.

moving on to other target, all takes time and thats getting less and less

as for .."we may win the next 2 or 3" wel we have Colchester H, Coventry A, WBA H, Plymouth A...... maybe something from the Colchester game...the rest , well I am certainly NOT hlding my breath.

    way past administration ?

... I haven't looked at the accounts for a few months but if I recollect the club is still in debt to over £3m and owns no assets other than the players contracts. I believe that the debts are supported by the guarentee of you know who. You want to pawn broke the club ? with what assets ?

don't say 'speculate to accumulate' aye great but if it goes wrong hello admin.

There may well be more money coming in each week than is going out ie profit, BUT we may still be in debt.

They may run at a profit within a financial year, but there is stilla large debt that is owed to Patrick Cryne.

Look at Manchester United, just announced record profits, but they are still in debt to the tune of 100's of millions.

Even Washday made a profit last year, but have a debt of 30 million.

RE: GS has announced we are now running at a profit

whilst that may be true at the current moment any profit in the current year will reduce the defecit brought forward which at one stage was over £5m. I think that the defecit at 31st May 2006 was £4m and we made a profit last season of approx £1m which means a defecit to start this year of £3m.These figures may be slightly out as the accounts are in my office and as I said I haven't read them for a few months.

    Is that clear enough ?

    I think you will find

that Mr Cryne has underwritten the said amount and has no intention of collecting..its a pseudo debt in a way, so do not kep giving me the administration hogwash

I've every confidence with the powers that be at Oakwell.I think expectation levels increased when we reached the top six.Time to get real again.Mid table would be a giant leap forward for this club.Let them get on with achieving this its well within our scope.

    What planet are you on????

Where did I say administration in my response to you. I think you need to understand the concept of profit and loss and long term debt in relationship to businesses, and Yes Barnsley are a business

indeed mid-table would be a leap forward, but our form says different

So do you not think the team is stronger this year than last?

I do and we are in a better position than we were last year too. OK we got some **** like Rickets but I still think on the whole the team is stronger.

Fair enough 8 from 30 is no good but every team goes through a drop in form at some time. Personally I think another 10 points should be enough for us to stay up. 14 and its a definate I think.

If thats the case and IF we win against Colchester then its only another 7 points till end of season.

PS what do you think the board should be doing? Buying players? Tell me who you think we could afford, available and willing to come to Barnsley for reasonable wages?
